Dr. Connor believes the key to successful therapy is authenticity and evidence based practice, which is a balance of treatment that is supported by research, yet most importantly recognizes you as the expert of your own experiences.
Dr. Connor approaches therapy by integrating your past experiences to understand the root of your difficulties and how they influence your life today. Meaningful change is not always present focused, though the present informs what is necessary to create lasting change. Through a supportive, safe, and validating environment, an ability to challenge perspectives and patterns is fostered to aid in a more valued life that you desire.
